About The Region

The Alta Mogiana region is one of Brazil's three major growing regions. Its rolling hills and uneven terrain lead to small-to medium- sized farms. This region can be described as traditional yet constantly innovative. Located on the border between the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo, coffee cultivation in the area began around 200 years ago. It includes municipalities from both states, eight from Minas Gerais and fifteen from São Paulo, making up a terroir that is privileged by its altitudes ranging from 800 to 1,300 meters above sea level. Alta Mogiana benefits from a unique microclimate characterized by well-defined seasons and fertile soils. Its dry climate during harvest and the mountains that provide different microclimates are essential ingredients for the production of exceptional beans.

My new favourite coffee

Never disappointed with Eclipse coffees and their service. Boa Esperanca has a smooth 'mocha' aroma and flavour - definitely my new favourite.
